2017 Redesign

New Noto Font

If you visit XtendIn Options you will notice the font has changed to a new font called “Noto”.  The purpose of using this Font is to support future internationalisation work.  It means that the font can handle different languages, so there will be consistency on how things will look.

Javascript “use strict”

To strengthen XtendIn code, the Javascript “use strict” keywords has started to be used in several files.  It will also help in reporting silent errors, meaning that potential problems or bugs can be spotted earlier.

The work has started in this release, so over the next release or two, it should be completed.

FIXES

Send Email Accessories – SMS Sending – Twilio

There was a bug when an SMS Message was being sent to a person who did not have a Country set in their Infusionsoft Contact Record.  The bug prevented the International Dialling Prefix not being added correctly to the Mobile Number, causing Twilio to report the problem.  This release fixes the issue.

NOTE: Make sure the Infusionsoft – Default Country setting is set to a Country.

NEW Features

Button Bar – FTP and Website Buttons

The Button Bar feature has been updated with two new actions called “FTP” and “Website”.

When selecting the “FTP” action, you will be presented with further options which are related to FTP activity.  You can specify the Host, Username, Password, Port and Paths.  This information can be obtained via the Contact Record or Opportunity Record Custom Fields.  If you need to specify a more hardcoded value, then use the “Custom Value” option, and specify the information in the “Custom” field.  When clicking on the FTP button, it will open a new tab and make a FTP connection to the host.

When selecting the “Website” action, you will be presented with a different set of options.  You can specify the URL and Parameters.  This information can be obtained via the Contact Record or Opportunity Record Custom Fields. If you need to specify a more hardcoded value, then use the “Custom Value” option, and specify the information in the “Custom” field.  When clicking on the Website button, it will open a new tab and open the URL.

Account Details – Campaign Builder

The recently added Account Details feature that was added into XtendIn v0.2.4, now has a new option for the Campaign Builder.   The Campaign Builder interface is not the same as the rest of Infusionsoft, and so behaves differently.  If the Account Details feature is causing any issues in there, you can now turn it off.  In addition, there is a new “Menu Bar” option that can be selected.

The new option is in “Infusionsoft – Global – Various” called “Show Account Details – Campaign Builder”.  It is turned off by default.

FIXES

Data Tables – Interactive View – Refresh Button

When viewing the tables in Interactive View, the Refresh Button when the option is enabled, will now appear alongside the rest of the other buttons.
