NEW Features

Browser Icon Changes

The Browser Icon now behaves differently in this release.  In versions 0.0.1 to 0.1.6 the Icon would show a small popup menu giving access to various sections.  In versions 0.1.7 to 0.1.8 the Icon would show a popup window showing the current page Options.  In this release clicking on the Icon will now open the Options page in a separate Tab.

By showing the Options in a Tab it makes it easier to see all the sections, and it does not look cramp anymore.  When clicking on the Icon it will open the Options related to the Interface page you are on.

The XtendIn Popup Options have been removed as there is no longer a popup involved.

 

Options Enhancements

Minor visual changes have been made to the Options.

  • Top Navigation Icons have been enhanced.

Setup Assistant – Get API Key Button

An improvement has been made in the Setup Assistant in which when specifying an ActiveCampaign or Infusionsoft Application Name, you can get the API Key by clicking on the “Get API Key” button.

Note, for this to work you need to be logged into the application.  Otherwise you will have to manually retrieve the API Key.

FIXES

Backup

The Backup feature has been fixed in this release.  Due to the growing Application Interface support, the code was revised to handle future applications more easily.

 

Setup Assistance – License Key field

The License Key field now recognises the option has been selected.  There was a bug in which it got confused with the Free Trial option and would not save the License Key if immediately used.

Any Account – Requires API Key message

If the “(Any Account)” option was selected in ActiveCampaign or Infusionsoft it would not show the “Requires API Connection” message for the options that require it.  Which may lead to confusion on why some options were working and others not.

This release now addresses that problem.  If the “(Any Account)” option is select for any option that requires an API Connection it now says this message “(Requires an Application Account)”.  If there is an Account selected, but there is no API Key, it now says this message “(Requires an API Key)”.

 

Upgrade Message

On new installations the “Result of current upgrade:” would say “vundefined”.  In this release this fixes the problem.

There would be no issue with the upgrade, just that the message would be wrong.  Upgrade is only performed for users on Version 0.0.1 to 0.1.6, or if the XtendIn Backed Up options are restored.

NEW Features

Automation Record – Scroll Window when Dragging

When dragging elements from the sidebar, if you move the element towards the top or bottom of the designer area, it will scroll the page for you.  This feature is ON by default.

Depending on your Mouse or Trackpad, you can also achieve this by using the Scrollwheel or additional gestures when dragging.

Automation Record – Tag Dropdown in Add/Remove Tag Dialog

This option will show the Tag Dropdown within the Add Tag or Remove Tag Dialog.  For this to work you need to make sure you have an API Connection setup in the Application Accounts section.  This feature is OFF by default.

Automation Record – Open Email Designer in separate Tab

When you edit an Email with the Automation, it will open in the same window.  Sometimes you may want it in a separate Tab to compare against other Emails.  By enabling the option an additional icon will appear next to the “(view reports)” link.  This feature is OFF by default.

FIXES

Contact Record – Tags Dropdown

This release fixes the issue of the Tags Dropdown not appearing in the Contact Record.

Automations – View Report

The Report ID was not being extracted properly for Accounts that had numbers in its name.  This release fixes that issue.

 

NEW Features

Google Mail is a newly supported interface for this release.  This release contains the ability to show Infusionsoft Contact Record Information within a Google Mail Email Thread.

Quick Installation

To setup the Google Mail support you will need to setup Infusionsoft Account details within the Options.

  • Click on the XtendIn Icon.
  • Go to the “Google Mail” Interface options.
  • Click on the “Integration – CRM Application” section.
  • In the “CRM Application” select “Infusionsoft“.
  • Enter your Infusionsoft “Application Name“.
  • Enter your Infusionsoft Application “API Key“.
  • Click on the “Save Options” button.

  • Log into your “Google Mail” account.
  • Go into any “Email Thread” (Preferably one that has an Email Address registered in your Infusionsoft Account).
  • By default you will see an Icon appear next to the Email Address.  It will show the Phone number if its associated with the Contact Record.  If the Contact was not found, it would show “No Contact” message instead.

  • You can also hover your mouse pointer over the Icon to review a popup of the Contact Record information.

  • If the Icon is missing, either you have not configured the CRM Application, or something else has gone wrong.

You can customise how the Icon reacts to your Mouse Pointer, and what Contact Record information you would like to see.

NEW Features

Application Accounts – Get API Key Button

If you are setting up Infusionsoft Application Accounts within the options, you will now see a new “Get API Key” button that gets the API key for you.  Make sure you are logged into your Infusionsoft account first.

Campaign Categories – Search Column

When you visit the Campaign Categories page in Marketing Settings you will now see a Search link on the same row as the entry.  By clicking the link it will open the Campaigns page in a separate tab and filter the search on the selected category.  By default this option is ON.

Campaign Builder – New Email Menu Items

When you edit an existing Email in Infusionsoft you cannot change things without having to remove the Email from the Sequence and add in a new one in.  This release adds the 4 New Email Menu Items that you see in the Actions menu.  By default this option is ON.

Contact Record – Notes – Hide Other Columns

You can now Hide the “Updated” and “User Assigned” columns in the Contact Record – Notes section.  By default this option is OFF.

Contact Record – Edit Note – New Options

The Contact Record – Edit Note popup can now be adjusted in the following ways.

This is to help you to see more notes in the field.  By default this option is OFF.

My Day – Actions Column

There is 3 new options for My Day that allow you to change how the Actions Column (Left Sidebar) sections appear.  You now have the option to collapse the Appointments, Opportunities and Tasks section.  By default this option is OFF.

Products – Default Search Filter

The Products page has no way to save a search.  This release allows you to setup a Default Search Filter when visiting the page.  If you are constantly looking at specific range of products, then by setting up the search filter it will save you time in redoing the filters each time.  By default this option is OFF.

Subscriptions Report – Contact Now Clickable

When you go into the Subscription Report, the Contact is not clickable.  This release adds a new option to allow you to access the Contact Record.  By default this option is OFF.

Infusionsoft Menu Behaviour

You can now change the behaviour of Infusionsoft Menus.  By default when you go to a Menu item it will appear immediately.  This release adds the ability to either Click on the Menu to appear, or Hover on the Menu and wait for it to appear.

FIXES

Contact Record Legacy URL

In particular situations you may get a completely different link to Infusionsoft Contact Record which looks like “/Contact/manageContact_legacy.jsp”.  XtendIn did not recognise this link and would not show any Contact Record features.  This release supports this URL.

 

Contact Record – Tags Count in General Tab

The text that shows the number of Tags being shown stopped working due to an Infusionsoft change.  If you are using the options to change the display layout it will now correctly showing the correct figure.

 

Contact Record – Linked Custom Fields

There was a bug in which the Linked Custom Fields were error if it processed a deleted Custom Field.  This release now filters out deleted custom fields.

 

Contact Record – Tag Loading

In Infusionsoft Accounts that have a large number of Tags, if specific Tag List features were enabled or the Tag Markers activated it would take time to load up the Tags.  To improve things, when the Contact Record page is loaded it will cache the Tag Categories and Tags for up to 24 Hours.  The time is configurable if you need to see recent changes.  On subsequent reloads it will use the cache until it expires.

In the Options Section “Infusionsoft – CRM – Contact Record – Genereal Tab – Tags List”, there is a new option called “Cache the Tag Categories and Tag Names”.  This is set to 24 Hours.  If you make changes click on the “Reset Tags Cache” button to purge the cache so that it can be rebuilt again when the Contact Record page loads again.

Tag Markers – Duplicate Icons

In odd cases the Tag Marker icons would appear twice in the Contact Record.  This release stops the duplicates from appearing now.

Campaign Builder – November 2016

This release supports Infusionsoft November 2016 update for the Campaign Builder.

The option “Campaign / Sequence Tools Sidebar – Number of Icons Per Row” has had a change so that the minimum or icons per row can only be 2.  In relation to this option, it now works properly with the retractable sidebar feature.
