The Integration – Phone – XtendIn Section allows you to enable Click-To-Dial phone links for any visible Phone Number within an Infusionsoft page.
NOTE: When a Phone Number is clickable, a telephone icon will appear next to it.
When a Phone Integration is set, any telephone numbers that are visible will be converted into a link that can be clicked on. The only exception is when the telephone number appears in a text entry field, then the label for that field becomes clickable.

Call To (callto:)
Phone numbers will be converted to use the “callto:” protocol. This is used by Skype, Ring Central (https://www.ringcentral.com/) and other VoIP providers.
The Clipboard Phone Integration is different in the fact when clicking on the phone number, it will be copied to the clipboard. When you click the link, it will briefly change to “Copied” then back to the original text.
This gives flexibility in the fact that if one of the phone systems that are not supported, you could paste the number into the software you use.
Phone numbers will be converted to use the “facetime:” protocol. This is used by Apple Facetime (http://www.apple.com/uk/mac/facetime/) software.
Phone numbers will be converted to use the “fax:” protocol. This is generally used by Fax software.
The Prompt Phone Integraiton is different in the fact when clicking on the phone number, a prompt will appear with the phone number selected.
You then have the option to look or copy the phone number. This is more of a manual process.

These options are for Skype (http://www.skype.com/en/) Software only.
When using the Skype Integration, you have one option called “International Dial Code on Phone Numbers Prefix“. This prefix is need for some Skype applications as they do not always understand what is a telephone number or a Skype User. Some applications will default the Dial Code, otherwise will not do this, and will stop the Click to Dial feature from working correctly. It is recommended that you set the Dial Code Prefix for Skype.

Phone numbers will be converted to use the “tel:” protocol. This is widely used by a variety of software.
Phone numbers will be converted to use the “zoiper:” protocol. This is used by the Zoiper (http://www.zoiper.com/en) software.
You can chose what phone icon appears next to the telephone number.
Incoming Telephone Calls
Some Softphone applications can open a webpage when an incoming call comes in. There is options to set up Ring Central and Zoiper Softphone applications to open Infusionsoft and perform a search on the incoming phone number. This gives the ability to open up the Contact Record for the person who is calling.
In addition, you can specify a list of phone numbers that you wish to ignore. Although there is a cavaet in that, when a phone call comes, if it is specified to be ignored, it will still open the webpage but will immediately close it.
For other Softphone applications, if they support Incoming Call automation, you just need to adapt the URL Phone Number Parameter for that software. If you are unsure, just contact me about it.
Ignore Incoming Telephone Number
At the bottom of the Incoming Telephone Calls, there is an “Ignore Incoming Telephone Numbers” section. You can specify a comma separate list of phone numbers that you would like to ignore.
Although the Softphone application will still open Infusionsoft, EMC will close the page when it detects a phone number that needs to be ignored.
Ignore Incoming Telephone Number Prefix
In some Telephone applications like Zopier when the incoming call comes in, it may prefix the International Dial Code to the Telephone Number. This can cause the incorrect telephone number to appear. By entering the prefix in the field, it will remove it from the number when being placed into Infusionsoft.
Note, this will work on telephone numbers with 6 digits or more.
